The following applications are not monitored by ND Behavioral Health. All are available in the Appstore and Google Play.  All apps are free with the extra content for purchase.

COVID Coach (Ages 4+)

The world as we know it has changed and we are living in unprecedented and uncertain times. COVID Coach is designed to help you build resilience, manage stress, and increase your well-being during this crisis. The app is free, secure, and helps connect you to important resources for coping and adapting during the COVID-19 pandemic. Customized tools are available to help you cope with stress, stay well, stay safe, stay healthy, stay connected, and navigate parenting, care-giving, and working from home while social distancing, quarantined, or sheltered in place.

7 Cups (Ages 18+)

Need someone to talk to? 7 cups is a multi-feature app for anonymous emotional support. Options include chatbot, one-on-one chats with listeners, community forums, personalized self-guided activities, educational videos.

Happify (Ages 18+)

Happify offers regular engagement to improve emotional well-being over long term. A single destination for effective, evidence-based solution for better mental health. Happify gives you effective tools and programs to help you take control of your feelings and thoughts. Their engaging activities can e used anytime, anywhere on a smartphone, computer, or tablet.

Headspace (Available content for kids age 5-12)

Headspace will help you find different ways to make living mindfully and integrated part of your life through bite-sized sessions, exercises for panic moments, and themes sessions. Guided meditation and educational animations to reduce stress, and improve sleep, focus, and happiness. Ability to select length and type of meditation based on personal goals (e.g. quick reset, moment of panic).

Smiling Mind (All ages)

Smiling Mind advocates for regular use when first learning mindfulness skills. Once the skills are mastered, no need for the app to help implement this new tool for mental health prevention. Free meditation app with age-group specific content that teaches mindfulness to improve overall emotional well-being and decrease stress.

Stop, Breathe & Think (All ages)

Guided meditation app which includes daily emotional check-ins. Track mood and progress. Learn to check in with your emotions to achieve relaxation and decrease stress.
